FATS, OILS AND GREASE CONTAMINATION
PROJECT DETAILS
The water is fed with storm water that has sewage, oils, fats and greases.

In all the golf course waterways I placed a drip system(dosing was dependent on the inflows) of the Baczyme sewage Liquid+ in a 10-1 dilution.

The first month of treatment showed the water turning from dark grey to green which is a sign that natural algae is now able to grow due to the increased O2 in the water.
System
The Baczyme drum was placed over the stormwater drain and dripped into the stream at 5 litres per day.
Setup
The drum is placed on a tripod dripping directly into the water stream.
BEFORE
The dam has a dark grey colour from the inflow of sewage,fats,oils and greases.Contaminated water had killed most water insects and the natural algae. This contamination is a threat to wildlife and living organisms in the water.
AFTER
After treating the water with Baczyme Sewage Liquid+(diluted), the water began to turn an initial greenish colour. This colour indicates the growth of algae in the dam. This growth directly suggests the increase in oxygen and nutrients in the dam water.When aquatic life returns the water becomes a lot clearer.
